Signing up for Auto Pay with a Credit Card

From the SmartHub homepage, click the Billing & Payments dropdown at the top of the screen, and scroll down to Auto Pay Kendall Electric Program:

You will need to accept the Auto Pay Terms & Conditions.  Read the Terms & Conditions very carefully by clicking on the blue hyperlink that says Auto Pay Terms and Conditions.  Click Accept by clicking in the box:

Click Enroll. If you already have a stored payment method, you’ll see it here, and can select it to enroll in auto pay.  If you don’t already have a stored payment method, click Add New Card:

 

Enter the credit card payment information and click Continue:

Once you confirm the payment information, you will get a message stating that your account was successfully enrolled in the auto pay program:  Click close.

Signing up with a credit card will start immediately.  If you have a balance due on your account, this amount will be pulled on your current due date.



Signing up for Auto Pay with a Checking Account

From the SmartHub homepage, click the Bill & Pay and scroll down to Auto Pay Program:

You will need to accept the Auto Pay Terms & Conditions.  Read the Terms & Conditions very carefully by clicking on the blue hyperlink that says Auto Pay Terms and Conditions.  Click Accept by clicking in the box:

Click Enroll. If you already have a stored payment method, you’ll see it here, and can select it to enroll in auto pay.  If you don’t already have a stored payment method, click Add New Card:

Enter the checking or savings account information here.  Please make sure you are using the information on the bottom of a check or the ACH information from the bank.  Credit Unions normally use your account number plus a few extra digits at the end.  Please verify this with your bank if you do not have a physical check.  Once the information is added, click I Agree.

Once you confirm the payment information, you will get a message stating that your account was successfully enrolled in the auto pay program:  Click close.v

Signing up with a checking or savings account will start on your current due date as long as auto pay has been enrolled at least 4 business days before your account is due. If you have a balance due on your account, this amount will be pulled on your current due date.



To Cancel Auto Pay with a Credit Card or Bank Account

To disable an auto pay record, go to Bill and Pay, then Auto Pay Program.  You will need to accept the Auto Pay Terms & Conditions.  Read the Terms & Conditions very carefully by clicking on the blue hyperlink that says Auto Pay Terms and Conditions.  Click Accept by clicking in the box.  Now click on Update or Cancel

You will see your existing credit card, checking or savings information.  Check the Cancel this Auto Pay box and click I Agree:

You will get a confirmation that auto pay enrollment has been cancelled:
