Tree Trimming and Removal

Tree Trimming & Removal

Did you know tree limbs may become a safety hazard when in contact with power lines? Attempting to trim a tree in contact with a power line puts you in danger of electrocution. It's important to allow Northeastern REMC to trim or even cut down trees near power lines. When you encounter a tree in the vicinity of a primary power line, immediately contact Northeastern REMC.

Northeastern REMC maintains nearly 1000 miles of overhead high voltage electric lines throughout its six county service areas. A majority of our power lines are within wooded areas, requiring some type of vegetation management. This consists of trimming, re-clearing, or both, to maintain safe, uninterrupted service to you and your neighbors.

If you're planning to trim a tree that is close to a power line, please call us at 1-888-413-6111 or fill out the form below to arrange a time for us to come out and see if we can assist you with your project.
