Participating in Operation Round Up®
Small change that changes lives!
Operation Round Up is a volunteer program in which Northeastern REMC members can choose to round up their electric bill to the next whole dollar each month, in order to help those organizations in need. The money is used to provide assistance for all kinds of worthy projects in our communities. All contributions to Operation Round Up® are tax-deductible.
How it works:
If your bill is $68.74, NREMC will round up your bill to $69.00.
The extra 26 cents will go into the fund that is distributed quarterly to local non-profit organizations. (The average yearly contribution is around $6.00 with the most being $11.88.)
We need more members participating in Operation Round Up® to make an even bigger impact in our community. Can we count on you? Sign up below.

Those eligible to apply for funds include organizations with financial needs in our service territory. For the most part, funds will be provided to meet the needs of applicants which aren’t being met through other sources. Funding for political contributions and payment of utility bills will not be considered. Board trustees meet three times a year to review all applications.
The deadline for applications are as follows: Q1 March 31st, Q2 June 30th, Q3 September 30th, and Q4 December 31st.
