Northeastern REMC participated in Indiana Electric Cooperative’s Community Day. NREMC was one of 28 electric co-ops in Indiana that worked on projects within their communities. 

A crew of 13 employees spent the day at the baseball field in Larwill where they used their equipment, skills, and expertise to replace broken lights, install a new sign, remove overgrown weeds from the batting cages, and touched-up paint on all the buildings. They also helped spread much-needed new dirt on the infield and tore down an old water fountain that was a safety hazard in the middle of the park.

Northeastern has participated in Community Day for many years and always looks for new opportunities to improve and develop the local community.
